Sakthi Karumariamman's History
Sakthi Karumariamman first came from Chennai in 1984 and Prana pratistha was performed by Priest Thanga Bhattar on June 8, 1984 and Karumariamman was inaugurated in Newark, NJ by my parents. In November 2015, Sakthi Karumariamman was moved to her new home in Edison,NJ and the Prana pratistha was performed on November 23, 2015 by Priest V. Bhaira Vamoorthy.
